GeoStats.jl: An extensible framework for high-performance geostatistics

Geostatistics is the branch of statistics developed for geospatial data. GeoStats.jl is a state-of-the-art implementation of various geostatistical methods for high-performance estimation (e.g. interpolation), simulation, and learning over general unstructured meshes. In this workshop, we will learn how to easily define and solve geostatistical problems in GeoStats.jl using modern interactive Pluto notebooks and the Julia programming language.

  • Julia v1.6 or a higher version of the language
  • Basic programming skills (function definition, conditional statements)
  • Basic knowledge of math and statistics (probability, correlation)
