The workshop will cover basic functions based on the Dijkstra Algorithm to get a route.
Route's costs can be in distance units, in time units in money units.
Get some basic knowledge of what the back-end functions on the database should look like and create a small front end to use with the back-end functionality.
We will use the FOSS4G Argentina area with OSGeoLive 14.
Don't forget to register before we run out of tickets!
The topics that we will cover:
- Installation of OSGeoLive
- Prepare data
- pgRouting algorithms
- Advanced routing queries
- Writing an SQL stored procedure
- Writing a pgsql-sql stored procedure
- Using QGIS
